Working out with Anjana put me in the best shape of my life. I have been through other personal trainers and I was in the US Army for 3 years but I swear to Anjana's yoga routine as that most effective tool for toning up and getting in shape. In the beginning I didn't even do cardio and the yoga still got me into shape. The workout runs so smoothly that time flies and before you know it you are done. She well customize the workout to incorporate other types of fitness training and she even helps with basic things that you wouldn't think about. For example, when I was preparing to join the Army and learning how to run, well really how to maintain breathing, Anjana taught me THE MOST EFFECTIVE techniques to keep going and master hills. I am new to Yoga and had my doubts about its usefulness relative to other forms of physical exercise, but a few group lessons with Anjana converted me into a fan! Her Vinyasa instruction is very detailed and clear even to newbies, focused, engaging and challenging, and ultimately satisfying. She not only demonstrates postures and flows, but performs all together with her class in the most artistic way. An additional private lesson with Anjana, provided me with sufficient personal feedback and guidance to substantially improve both my understanding and performance in a very short time. Anjana has a one of a kind flow when it comes to yoga. She dances through the poses in such an elegant way, including breathing techniques that surrender you to the movement. Every class of hers is unique and different, clearly planned to change your perspective and to keep you on your toes as to what comes next. I never imagined yoga to be so artistic. Anjana is an wonderful yoga instructor. I originally went to her to deepen my yoga practice, I had been attending yoga classes off and on but really wanted to commit to my health and wellness and I knew private yoga was what I needed. Once I started working with Anjana not only did I get amazing step by step Yoga instruction but I got so much more. We evaluated my goals of loosing wight and toning and she started incorporating strength training and weights into my sessions. She also provided me with essential nutritional guidance to make sure all the hard work I was doing on the mat would pay off. After a session with Anjana I feel strong and centered. I strongly recommended her to anyone looking to move, sweat and align with who you are. P.S. If you like to work out with music, Anjana makes the best play lists to keep you moving :)Sep 12, 2014
