Rob did some trim work for me in a remodeled living room, dining room and hall way. We started talking about this project months out, as I worked with the other contractors to schedule everything around. His work is 100% top quality, great prices, and he is a very, very polite individual. 100% recommend Rob.

Rob exceeded our expectations. Our ceiling was expertly patched with mold resistant dry wall without expanding the opening in search of studs. Although we hadn't specified the finishing requirements, Rob returned for a second visit and spent a few additional hours applying another skin, sanding, priming and painting so the final result was perfect. He put in a lot of time and effort resulting in great value from our perspective. I highly recommend him.

Our foyer and hallways were so bare that they were desperately requiring something to dress them up a bit. I had Rob come over and check out the project and he was totally on board. I showed him ideas that I got from Pinterest on what I wanted in the hallway and he did exactly that. The ideas I had for the entryway were a little unclear but Rob assured me that when he was finished with it that we would absolutely love it... and he didn’t let us down! We absolutely LOVED the finished product so much that we’re having him do more work for us in the near future! He is very talented in his craft!
Rob is very punctual, polite, and professional. He was very accommodating with our 8 month old when it came to nap time and was very patient and tolerate of our 3 year old running around the house while he was working!! Overall, I highly recommend Rob....super pleased!

We contacted Rob via Thumbtack to complete drywall repair and trim in our powder room after a plumber opened 2 walls to do a re-pipe. He was very responsive, professional and friendly. His work was high quality and he and his helper were respectful of our property. We recommend him and his crew and would use him again in a heartbeat. You can tell he cares about the quality of his work.
What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I typically charge by the job, instead of by the hour. I've found that when people charge an hourly rate, you will likely end up paying more money in the long run! With me, you know what your project is going to cost from start to finish.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Typically, once a client and I establish a line of communication, I will then setup an appointment to visit the place of work. Once I arrive, you will have an opportunity to meet me and I will assess the job proposal so I may write you a quote or give you an estimate on the spot. From there, if we haven't already come to an agreement, I will then email you a quote so that you have the necessary information to base your decision. If we agree, we can then discuss scheduling the work to be completed. On large jobs (2 days of work or more) I will take a 50% deposit down before I start to work. If it's a small job (1 day or less) I would perform the work and accept payment when the work has been completed to your satisfaction.
My preferred method of communication is text messaging, although sometimes talking over the phone is more effective. Once you become one of my clients, you become family. So, whichever method you prefer is okay with me!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have had years of on the job experience related to most trades in regards to construction. I've surrounded myself with people who know more than I do; this way of finding mentors has provided me with valuable experience and the knowledge to execute projects quickly and efficiently!
