We are a family-owned Heating and Cooling company and we've served D.C. , Maryland and Virginia for over 10 years. The name James Ozie comes from our 2 sons middle names, our oldest is James and our youngest is Ozie . Everyone in our family has helped and had input on this company from the colors, to the pricing, to the discounts and specials. Our main focuse in life is to help and educate. The reason we started the company is we recognized that a lot of people of misinformed and taken advantage of. Just as in our family everyone has a part to play. We feel we have to play our part in our community as well. We lead with honesty, integrity and quality.
We install and service air conditioning and heating systems. We also repair, maintain and install water heaters. In addition, we offer preventative maintenance plans, indoor air quality (IAQ) products and accessories.

The turnaround time from when I called to when the appointment time and date was very quick. The technician was professional and on time. The technician was knowledgeable and found the issue quickly. Very happy working with James Ozie's Heating and AC. They came out for seasonal maintenance on my AC and to replace the pressure release valve on my water heater. He was able to complete the work quickly and efficiently. I then asked him to come back to install my smart thermostat which he did with ease for a fair price. I would highly recommend working with them as they're honest and friendly.
Responded quickly. Tech identified the problem and fixed quickly. They were able to work with us on doing the work while we were out of town too.

If I could give this business ten stars I would . Woke up this morning my house was freezing I tried to trouble shoot myself but unsuccessful . I contacted James Ozies by mid afternoon and they came within two hours of me reaching out very responsive . My tech was Terrance who was Knowledgeable, professional and even arrived early. He knew what the problem was before he took my furnace apart fixed in in a matter of minutes. They are reasonably price . I will be using them for all future HVAC needs .

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We do have a diagnostic fee. If no parts are needed, its just the diagnostic fee. If partsare needed, the diagnostic fee is waived.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
After college, I was looking for a job. my wife found a job in the pennysaver. We thought it was an airline company. During the interview, I found out it was hvac. I liked the challenge of it and decided to give it a try. I started as a technician for united Air temp. After I became one of the top technicians I moved to the installation department.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Know what type of heating(fuel) or cooling(water) system you have.
