Our Team is fully vaccinated and up-to-date with all the CDC's rules and regulations for the health/beauty industry.
My Team & I are called the "JM Glam Squad." We offer both Hair & Airbrush Makeup Services. Working with Jenifer was absolutely amazing! Aside from being prompt, attentive, talented, and professional- she's just a plain joy to be around. She is very communicative, and addressed all of my concerns/expectations.
Jen asked me for my vision, and bought it to life. She was very up front about details, process, and cost. I did both hair and makeup- both came out perfectly. I appreciated Jen even doing a video call with me to show me options for my hairstyle.
She was prompt for both my consultation and wedding day. Jasmine (part of her team), did an excellent job styling my hair the day of my wedding. Words can't express how genuine and kind both these ladies are.
Jen also did the makeup for my bridesmaid (which she loved..still not sure how Jen talked her into lashes, but we're glad she did:).
I'll be definitely booking them for future events, and referring all my friends. Thank you ladies for making this a great, painless experience.

Jen/JMDesinz was awesome. We had a great time at my trial and then the day of my court house wedding. She listened to what I wanted and we worked together to make it right. She encouraged me to keep my natural curl (which I initially wanted) and actually styled my curly hair. Some of you curly girls know, this is no easy feat. (I've had my hair done multiple times, asking to use my natural curl and every time they straightened my hair and then curled it.) Jen was amazing. We ended up doing a smooth, sleek style due to my now husband's preference and my vision. She uses air brush make-up which I had never tried before. I really liked it. I learned a lot from her about makeup and styling. Her schedule worked so well with mine and she was very easy to get in touch with and swap ideas. Having her over felt like having a friend over who happened to be an excellent, experienced hair and make-up artist. I highly recommend Jen/JMDesignz and will hire her again and again! (Sorry photos are not close up, but there are a couple angles of the hairstyle.)

Working with Ms. Jen was great! She was so lively and friendly, and she did a wonderful job on my hair and makeup. My hair usually never holds curl, but she was able to get it to last all day despite sweltering heat and a plane ride in an open air cockpit. You really can't get much more tested than that! I was also concerned with makeup, as I've never had it professionally done before, and I have very sensitive skin, but everything Ms. Jen used was just fine on my face and it felt light as air! I looked like a million bucks and was so glad to have been so well taken care of. She listened to what I wanted, and applied her professional knowledge to come up with a plan that was just right. She gave me lots of options and choices along the way as well to make sure I felt in control of my look, and understood what she was doing. It was great! Thank you again, Ms. Jen!

Ms. Jen and her team were a pleasure to be around. They made the atmosphere fun and best of all, they came to us. It made getting ready for my wedding much more relaxing than it otherwise could have been.
Her work is also fantastic. We did a trial beforehand so I could test out a couple options, and on the day of my wedding everything turned out amazing. My hair was complimented by the most unlikely of people. The caterer came up and told her that my hair was the best she had seen at the end of a night. I danced, I withstood heavy wind, and still my hair held in place. One of my straight male friends was also so impressed by my hair that he insisted on taking a photo, just in case it hadn't been previously captured during the night.
The only complaint that I have is that the price changed multiple times (always getting a little more expensive.) It never increased more than $10 per service, but it happened enough times that I had to keep telling my bridesmaids different possible prices. It would probably bring my review down half a star, but that isn't an option that I can choose. That being said, I went with 5 instead of 4, because if I had the option, I would go with Ms. Jen again, I only would hope that she would have given the slightly more expensive prices up front and then stick to them rather than fluctuating.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our services start at $40 and go up depending on our client's needs. Group events are discounted. We are offering a Prom "Party Gal" Special for $70. Phone Consultations are FREE. Hair and Makeup Trials are $140. Makeup Trials are $70. Hair Trials are $70. A nonrefundable $30-$75 deposit is required to confirm the appointment date with us. We are Mobile and we travel to you. We do charge a "Traveling Fee" of $1 per mile and if applied, any tolls and/or parking fees.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First Step: Once you decide to more forward with our Services, please send your email address so we may send you a link to our Client Profile. This profile helps us help you with your overall look for your Event. Return your profile along with an email of your pictures. One of yourself, the Makeup and/or Hairstyle "Look" your desire.
Second Step: We'll send you a Service Overview with exact quotes.
Third Step: We do require a nonrefundable deposit to hold your appointment date with us.
Fourth Step: We'll send your Service Agreement Contract which will need to be signed.
Fifth Step: We'll see you on your appointment date.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
My Grandmother was in the Fashion Business and we were always surrounded by fashion, hair and makeup people. I wanted to learn "how they made everyone look so glamorous" and so I did. I love my line of work and feel Blessed to be able to do what I love to do every day.
