I had the pleasure of seeing Ray “Mr. Swiftie” Castro perform live at Keymar Winery and at a sports bar in Mt. Airy; both times, his performance was awesome. When I began planning a special event for family and friends, we needed music, and Ray immediately came to mind. He delivered exactly the performance we needed. Not only is he talented, but he is also personable and outgoing—he gives all his energy to his music, and we enjoyed his performance immensely. I can’t wait to see him play again!

What a fantastic musician! I saw him play at a winery near Washington, D.C., and I was so impressed with his talent, song choice, and professionalism that I booked him right there for my graduation party. He came early to set up, played a wonderful two hour set, and I got unsolicited compliments from every single guest. Ray keeps his commitments, puts on a great show, and even stayed after to celebrate with us a bit. Highly recommend Mr. Swiftie for your event-- you won't be disappointed!

I cannot say enough great things about Ray. It starts with a prompt and friendly reply. It ends with an incredible show that was a surprise for my TS fan daughter at her Rehearsal Dinner party. Ray was punctual, professional (several guitars, amps, mics, etc.) and a crowd pleaser. He kept the crowd engaged, and kept them talking about for the entire weekend and more. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Minimum fee of $250 for the first hour, but pricing is flexible depending on the event.
Also, I offer a package where you can split the entertainment. I can do a live music performance, and then I can run karaoke for your guests either before or afterwards.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We'll set up a call to discuss details, then an email will be sent to confirm the details, and then a deposit will be required to reserve the agreed upon date.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
30+ years playing music.
I perform live 8-12 times per month at venues all across the area and at private events.
