Introduction: Armed with more than 20 years of design experience, what distinquishes PT Designs Inc. from other interior designers is two fold: Although I offer an hourly fee structure, most clients prefer the "project based" format in which my design time and services are included in the project price which allows me to negate expensive hourly billings to you. Secondly, attention to detail and top notch communication/customer service are two top priorities! No project is to large or small....good design is possible in any size project & any size budget! We LOVE solving clients design dilemma's with beautiful solutions! Every client and every project is it's own unique set of circumstances, needs and potential! Paula has done several rooms in our house and they all turned out fantastic. We remodeled the sit down area of our kitchen, which included painting, window treatments, hardwood floors and an area carpet. She listened to what we wanted to achieve with the room and presented options to us that stayed within our budget. We are very happy with how the room turned out and have since used her to update my daughter's bedroom. The results were excellent there also. We are very happy with Paula's work and will continue to use her when we redo the other rooms in our house. She is very talented, patient and always made sure that we were happy with each phase of the project. I would highly recommend Paula!

Paula is fabulous! You will not be disappointed. She is highly organized and gets the job done! She does a great job extracting my thoughts and ideas and easily turns them into something better than you ever thought of. Paula assisted me with a re-do for my master bedroom/bath and sitting room. New curtains, paint, light fixtures, shades, built-in shelves, etc. I wanted to keep my furniture so she was able to update and rejuvenate my master bedroom and bath as well as my sitting room. I literally walk in there everyday and I'm still in awe of how it looks and feels. She really knows her stuff. I loved working with Paula and we are already starting a new project as I write this! Call her right now!!

Paula has helped us with a variety of interior design projects throughout our entire house. While constructing our current house, Paula visualized placement of existing furniture, and helped select interior paint colors so transitioning from room to room was seamless. Once we moved in, she worked with us first to design our family room and kitchen. The results were stunning, and we get so many compliments. When we were ready, we moved on to the dining room and living room, where Paula helped select window treatments, area rugs, as well as reupholster some of my favorite pieces in updated fabrics. We are so happy. Not only does our house look polished, it is all being done on our time frame and budget. We can't wait to begin our next project. Thank you, Paula!

PT Designs Inc. offers both hourly consultation pricing and project pricing ~ clients can decide which format best fits their needs. At PT Designs Inc we ALWAYS offer references too!
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
PT Designs offers an initial complimentary consultation to meet with you in the convenience of your home or office to look at and discuss your project. This is an opportunity for you to establish a comfort level, determine if you like our initial thoughts and brainstorming which will aid you in selecting the best professional match for you!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I attended both Emmanuel College in Boston, Massachusetts and Arizona State University in Tempe, AZ and earning a BS degree from Emmanuel. I have more than 20 years experience as an interior designer in the DC Baltimore area which brings a wealth of industry knowledge, preferred contractors and local sources in addition to my national/international sources for product!
