About
I treat every client as an individual -- entity or person -- with the same goal, client satisfaction. I love Photography because it is my profession and passion. I love the gift of helping others seeing themselves through my lens. I love the happiness and sense of pride my clients see when their creations and designs are captured in timeless print. Photography documents the art living and dreams realized.

I HAVE NEVER BEEN SO THRILLED IN MY WHOLE LIFE.THE WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE THAT I SHARED WITH ARLIE IS SOMETHING THAT I WILL TREASURE THE REST OF MY LIFE.I AM A 65 YEAR OLD WOMAN,MY BUCKET LIST INCLUDED"BOUDOIR" PHOTOGRAPHY.MY PICTURES WERE SO SENSUAL,THAT AFTER I POSTED THEM IN A DATING SITE,I WAS OVERWHELMED WITH 136 MESSAGES FROM MEN THAT WANTED TO MEET ME.ALL OF THE GENTLEMEN THAT CONTACTED ME SAID THAT THEY COULD NOT TAKE THEIR EYES OFF OF MY PICTURES AND COMPLIMENTED THE BEAUTIFUL PHOTOS THAT ARLIE TOOK OF ME.I DON'T THINK THERE IS A WORD IN THE DICTIONARY THAT CAN EXPLAIN HOW HAPPY I WAS WITH MY PHOTO SESSION. ARLIE IS A VERY SWEET AND PATIENT YOUNG LADY..SHE MAKES YOU FEEL VERY COMFORTABLE AND IS VERY PROFESSIONAL.IN THE FUTURE MY CHOICE FOR A PROFESSIONAL PHOTOGRAPHER WILL ALWAYS BE "SIMPLY ARLIE"....JUDITH TUMINELLO,GLEN BURNIE,MARYLAND.

Arlie was a consummate professional in every aspect. She showed a high degree of patience and willingness to accommodate my daughter and me. She was extremely gracious and made us feel comfortable for first-timers getting professional, quality photos taken. Arlie was very knowledgeable and had good photo taking tips from makeup- to hair- to lighting. When my daughter needs headshots redone, or I ever decide to get an executive shot taken in the future – Arlie will be on our short list of qualified, skilled photographers for sure! Mike

Arlie was professional; extremely artistically talented; personable; offered wise staging advice; made sure that myself and my clients were happy with the photos before leaving the property; took extra time to make sure the pictures were perfect in her artist's eye, as well; I could go on and on.......bottom line -- I will be hiring Arlie again, and again.

Arlie was such a great photographer. Not only did she take excellent head shots, but she was genuine and took her time with each photo. She fought through traffic to come to me and was diligent in her work. Thank you so much Arlie!

FAQs

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

I'm a portrait and commercial artist with a reputation for compelling, beautiful portraits for professional and personal use. I do not typically share portraits for private individuals in my portfolio. But, I do photograph more than actors, artists, and models. I work with the fashion and entertainment industries also to create commercial and editorial branding. I also have a passion for architecture and property. I frequently photograph residential and commercial property for real estate agents and property owners.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Communicate with the photographer about your goals for he photography -- first and foremost. It is important to be able to see your vision come to life and you need more than a capable photographer to help you realize your goals. I do not expect clients -- or perspective clients -- to come with complete goals or projects outlined from A to Z. No, but through communication and collaboration, we can get there. I also encourage clients to ask questions -- know the medium of the photography, storage, editing and delivery options upfront. Be open to your vision and if possible, a little experimentation. I shoot what clients want and aim to give them a little extra -- my vision interpretation of theirs. We often discover they are in love with the extra. Sometimes, the extra brings even greater satisfaction.

  • What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

Photography is more than the ability to press a button on a camera, iphone or other picture rendering device. Through recent technological trends and developments, there is confusion at times with consumers and in the marketplace. The ease of devices causes a bit of devaluation of "photography" as a profession reducing it to an interest or hobby. While there are many hobbyists and enthusiasts -- which I welcome even in photography workshops and events that I host --there is a real difference. Photography is very much an art form and professional career. I am very fortunate to be passionate about my career and come from a family legacy of 90 years of photographers, artists and fashion. In addition to creating portraits, commercial and editorial campaigns, I also offer fine art creations. It is for these reasons I refer to myself as an artist as much as a photographer. I, along with other professional photographers, welcome the opportunity to serve your photographic needs.
