Introduction
Out of the Way Movers has been Est'd in 1998, in Europe, and expanded to the US in the early 2000's.
We, typically, rate our local moves hourly and are often able to provide discounts, based on the distance.
All of our Team Members are background checked, drug tested as well as properly trained. In addition the crew, that will be assisting you with the move, will be wearing masks and gloves to ensure safety during the pandemic.
Lastly, and most importantly, we offer licenced, insured and certified moves in accordance with the American Storage & Moving Association.
Our mission statement is to consistently offer and provide the most efficient and reliable moving and storage services available, while adhering strictly to a policy of truth, honesty, integrity and fairness in all business transactions.

Will never be using another company again after how awesome Out of the way movers made my move yesterday!! This was my 4th move in derwood and my best by far. From the time I first contacted them to the end of my move, everything was truly seamless.My contact at the company - Milan - stuck with me through the whole process and it was so nice getting to talk to him every time since he was my moving specialist. I really liked that feature of having the same contact - Milan couldn't have been kinder or more helpful getting everything set up! Everything from my COI forms to all the logistics in between were handled SO efficiently.I was already so impressed with Out Of The Way Movers when I booked them pre-pandemic and then they more than rose to the challenge of having to move me during this super stressful time. Moving is stressful enough already without a global pandemic but I felt so supported and reassured by the company and my move couldn't have been smoother.I have waaaaaaayyy too many things for one person but they were so efficient, professional and nice the whole time! Even when we came up against difficulties due to the current protocols needed by my buildings due to COVID19 they were so patient, powered through and made sure everything was taken care of. All of my things arrived in perfect condition and they truly could not have done a better job. Thank you guys, again!Also on top of this being the smoothest move I've ever had in Derwood - it was actually the least expensive one too! Their rates are so competitive and reasonable and they are worth every penny for the piece of mind and great work they do.Bottom line: You can't beat the cost or the service provided. 100% will be using Out of the way movers for any future moving needs!

I had a simple straight forward move and wasnt too versed with how to load items securely, neither the placement of how I should have items placed in the bed of the moving truck. Their mover Strahinja was exceptional and courteous. He explained the best way for us to pack specific items so they would not be damaged while driving as items may shift around. He was fast and very diligent and stayed on task until our move was completed. All of our items were unpacked safely and in one piece as we unloaded into our new home. The service was great and very reasonably priced. They were prompt and professional. I highly recommend this company for any of your moving needs! Very satisfied customer!
