Just before Christmas, my husband plled up the carpet in our living room and hallway. While we knew the floors would need to be refinished, we didnt expect to find so many stains. Golden Blade Flooring was 1 of 4 companies we reached out to for an estimate. They were knowledgeable and walked us through their proposed approach providing more details than the other companies and costed less than some of the other companies. We LOVE our newly refinished floors! They look AMAZING. (See before and after pictures attached) And we have already recommended this company to a friend.

Golden Blade Flooring did an amazing job refinishing our floors and staircases. If you’re looking for skilled professionals who take real pride in their craft, look no further! The previous owners had done a quick fix on the floors, coating them in a flat layer of brown paint. Xiomara and her husband worked carefully to strip that away, revealing and restoring the beautiful wood beneath. The transformation was incredible, they brought the original floors back to life. From the start, they were responsive, professional, and transparent—getting back to us within 24 hours, providing a detailed estimate, and beginning work within two weeks. Their pricing was fair and competitive. They took the time to offer thoughtful recommendations, especially when it came to color matching and repairs. They tested stains in different lighting to get the best match to our existing floors and worked within our budget to find solutions that didn’t compromise on look or quality. As part of the project, they also removed old carpet from both staircases. One staircase matched the quality of the rest of the home, and they were able to refinish those stairs beautifully. The other staircase, leading to the basement, revealed pinewood that didn’t match the rest of the house. Still, they made the best of it, offering a realistic and professional recommendation that gave us a clean, elevated look for now, even if it’s not our forever fix. Their attention to detail was unmatched! They sanded multiple times for a flawless finish, kept their workspaces tidy, and took care to block off areas to reduce dust. They were punctual and communicative, always letting us know when they’d arrive and how long they’d be working. Since we were working from home, their respect for our time and space didn’t go unnoticed. This small, family-owned business is a rare find. Not only are they incredibly talented, but they are also kind, hardworking, and take immense pride in what they do.
