I initially had ordered a dryer for my stackable unit. That turned into a dryer and washer (as my old unit could not be de-stacked), and then ultimately ended up with another stackable unit that was compatible with my power source.
First let me say that these guys work their BUTTS off. I am talking early mornings until 10 pm if necessary (both the technicians and in-office managers). I have a crazy schedule, so having the availability that Labor Neighbor does is a huge plus for me. Everyone I worked with was very professional and nice. Alex and I talked more than probably either of us would have liked to due to the compatibility and electrical issues at my condo, but he was always professional and upbeat (and being able to text instead of call is a huge plus for me, as I am always in meetings). Gus and Myron are AWESOME- both very kind and personable. Myron does not leave a job and forget about the issue... he was adamant about seeing the job through to resolution. Gus is awesome on the job site, double and triple checking that everything is installed correctly. I wish I had done more research on my own as far as electrical issues, power compatibility, etc. which would have made my experience with Labor Neighbor feel more seamless. For a very frustrating situation, all three of the guys I worked with made it as painless as possible. Next time I will do MY homework before making a purchase from Labor Neighbor, but will absolutely be a repeat customer.

I have nothing but good things to say about the gentlemen that came to set up our TV. Both were incredibly courteous, arrived on time, got the job done fast, and the TV mounted on the wall looks fantastic. They even upgraded hardware for us since the ones in the box were low quality. Will definitely call them again when I need work done around the house and would highly recommend. Great customer service over the phone and in person! Thank you!

The service provided by Labor Neighbour was packing up my son's dorm room. Normally I would travel to help him, but couldn't this time round. From the get go Alex was very helpful, I called and explained the situation to him, and he told me it would be no problem for the company to do so. I explained to him that I was not in the USA, and he gave the assurance that he would ensure that things would be taken care of. I liked the fact that the office phone was forwarded to Alex's cell, so I was able to speak to him at any time; and he never made it sound as if I were bothering him, or I was calling at an inconvenient time. Furthermore, during our disussions about cost, he actually asked me what I thought would be a good price! I had no clue about these things, and when I did further research, I realise Alex's price was VERY GOOD! When I tried to make payment online and it wouldnt go through, Alex said we could make payment on the day the job was completed Leading up to the date for the job, I was able to call Alex and speak to him and ask questions. On the date for the job, the team called my son about an hour ahead to let him know they were running late because of bad weather, and traffic build up due to an accident. They arrived and my son said: "These guys are so good; they wre professional, friendly, and efficient. When one of them had to step outside to sort out a concern with a previous client, he told me exactly what he'd be doing and was back in less than 15 minutes."

I just wanted to take a moment to sincerely thank the office staff and crew at Labor neighbor. I had scheduled another moving company to take care of my move a week and a half prior to my scheduled date. Unfortunately two days before they informed me that they would have to reschedule which I was unable to do. After going on the Thumbtack site I contacted labor neighbor and mr. Scott who I spoke with immediately put me at ease and assured me all of my needs will be met. He was able to arrange a crew for the very next day. The customer service from both project management and the finance department was excellent. When Kevin and Todd arrived they did a walk-through with me to let me know exactly how the move will be handled and told me that if there were any items that I thought needed special attention to let them know so that everything was handed to my satisfaction. The guys were also able to take down my mounted TV and remount them at my new location which was a plus. They disassembled and reassembled my entertainment center which did not fit through a doorway at first. I have to say the entire experience was very pleasant and professional. I'd plan on using labor neighbor for all of my home improvement needs in the future and recommend anyone reading to do the same. Thanks again guys for a job well done.

Myron, Gus, Jay and Will disassembled and reassembled a 9' pool table and moved a 7' grand piano between floors in my house. Their knowledge, professionalism, respectfulness and pleasant demeanor through some challenging assignments was outstanding. their work ethic and attention to customer satisfaction went well beyond our expectations and gained our full trust and respect. Our typical process for working with a new customer is to ensure that their needs are met completely. When our clients call our customer service representatives take the time to listen to your needs. Based on your vision our representatives ask specific questions and advise on the proper course of action to ensure that the proper crew and equipment will be provided. Every part of the project is properly explained including our scheduling process, how the work will be performed as well as pricing.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
The Labor Neighbor family has more than 25 years experience in various areas of the home improvement industry including sales, marketing, customer service, moving & packing, carpentry, assembly and more. Our employees are properly trained in all parts of the industry to ensure that they are prepared to meet all of our customers needs.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I got started in the industry by working for one of the largest home improvement companies on the east coast. I spent more than 10 years working as both a sales and project manager learning all facets of customer service and the latest and best techniques for all forms of interior home improvements.
