- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I like to bill around $40.00 an hour, depending on client's budget, amount of work, and turn-around time. I am flexible and will work with clients to get the best results for for both of us.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I prefer to contact the client using email or telephone, whichever they are most comfortable. Set up meeting time and place as soon as possible as there are typically deadlines to be met. After meeting and gaining a strong understanding of goals and objectives, finalize a workflow, schedule, and resulting finished product(s). Included are providing proofs of the project at logical points via email (Acrobat files) or via a website, whichever is appropriate. Doing the best quality job for my client is my primary objective along with meeting deadlines and staying within budget.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
20+ years experience with Computer-based Desktop publishing and commercial printing. 15 years experience working with converting existing publications/documents to Acrobat format (others as needed) for distribution over the Web.
