Founded in 2009, Simpkins Security Group, LLC is a privately owned security firm specializing in physical security, training, consulting, professional process service and investigations with offices in Pennsylvania, Maryland and Georgia. Stephen Simpkins, the founder of Simpkins Security Group, LLC, has held numerous positions in the security field, including loss prevention manager, physical security supervisor, security installation/service technician and security inspector. Additionally, he was the security director of the largest class A office high-rise building in the city of Philadelphia, PA. Stephen's certifications include PA Lethal Weapons (Act 235) and NJ Security Officer Registration Act (SORA), and he is a CPR/first aid instructor for the American Heart Association and the Emergency Care and Safety Institute. Stephen is also a Certified National Rifle Association pistol, rifle and shotgun instructor, a security instructor with the state of Delaware and a licensed firearms instructor in the state of Maryland. An 8-year veteran of the United States Army's 82nd airborne division, Stephen has earned numerous awards and decorations and deployed to Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. He was honorably discharged after achieving the rank of staff sergeant.
