FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
While I do not have a "standard" pricing, I almost never respond to a quote with "more information needed (before I can determine appropriate pricing)," Even further, rarely do I charge by the hour--though I promise I work efficiently. I usually provide potential customers with a final price and explain what the price includes. Even better, all quotes are negotiable.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
After a prospective customer responds to a quote, I will contact the customer via their preferred method to learn more their project and their deadline expectations. As well, if the customer has any additional information they would like to convey, I always provide my mobile number (text and call enable) as well as my email address. Once a potential customer and I have solidified a meeting date and deadline expectation, we can get started. I tend to work fast and will, during the first conversation, outline my understanding of the final product.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I graduated with a degree in International Studies, which provides unique opportunity for me to edit a myriad of tasks. In addition, I graduated with a minor in English Literature so if the project involves drafting through edit career documents, or a short story, I am well versed. Whatsmore, I currently work as a Technical Writer, thus drafting and editing highly technical material (e.g. career documents, web content, point papers) is well within my ability.
