After lightning struck our chimney, causing extensive damage, my fiancé, Rebecca, and I reached out to Lalonde Chimney and Home Solutions over the Thumbtack App to schedule a consultation for inspection and assessment of the damage, estimation of work order, and completion of repairs. The owner, Jeff Lalonde, responded quickly and was highly knowledgeable in walking us through the entire process from the initial inspection, work order planning, and project completion. It could not have been a more seamless process thanks to the attention to detail that Jeff and his team brought to this project, and the results far exceeded our expectations in every aspect! From the start, we knew that we were looking to work with an expert chimney contractor to assist us after lightning struck our chimney, causing extensive damage. However, we knew it wouldn’t be easy to find someone who was no-nonsense and willing to work with us through the insurance claims process, ensuring that our chimney was brought back up to code safely while not trying to tack on extra costs to our estimate. Selling my home and past two inspections indicated the fireplace was inoperable. I haven't been there in awhile so I took the inspections as correct. Turned out the fireplace was NEVER turned on correctly. The technician came by and did everything he could and in 5 minutes we had fire. I wanted to hug the technician simply because he took time to figure it out. I have three other properties and will only work with them in the future!
