- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I start by understanding their level (beginner, intermediate, etc.) and their goals. From there, I provide structured, easy-to-follow lessons focused on everyday communication. I also emphasize learning from Deaf-centered resources to make sure they’re building a strong foundation.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My work is rooted in ongoing ASL learning, community involvement, and a strong focus on Deaf culture and accessibility. I continuously study and improve to ensure what I teach is accurate, respectful, and useful for real-life communication.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started because I’m passionate about making communication more accessible, especially for the Deaf community. I saw a need for ASL content that’s both beginner-friendly and respectful of the language and culture, so I decided to create lessons that reflect that.
