Andree obviously has a lot of experience working with young kids and seemed to enjoy the challenge of engaging my interested but shy little gal. A long-term contract has a lower price than a one time course. Online (via Skype, messenger, e-mail, etc ....) has a lower price than driving to the client. Driving to the tutor's address has a lower price.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
listening, taking notes, interests, homework, referring to ... web, TV program, dictionary, etc... internet: images, web communication, drawing, songs, action verbs for small kids The laptop with internet is a very good tool for small kids as well as adults
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Native speaker. Education France. Worked with kids and high school teen since 1994. Substitute teacher for different schools in MD and VA specially in French and environmental science. But also teach biology in college levels as adjunct. Establish French in elementary kids and in after-school day care centers.
