As a Marital and Family Development Specialist, I want couples and families to have an experience they will remember over the course of their lives together. I've been with my bride for 44 years now and love her more with each passing day. This was heightened the year she almost died, and I understood then how precious a gift from God she was to me. l often recount saying, Lord I know she would be better off in your arms, but if it be your will, I'd like you to let her stay in my arms a while longer! Marriage is sacred, precious, and eternal. It is filled with new discoveries and adventures. When I work with couples in counseling and marital development, I believe in relational care; it's predicated upon developing a strong rapport, relating healthy values, and sharing my experiences. Relationships should be built on trust and transparency. Rapport building has become a lost art in our present culture. We no longer take the time to really know who we're dealing with and how they add value to our lives. I strive for transparency, allowing my clients to see how I've overcome life challenges utilizing principles that lead to success! I offer a peer-to-peer approach and educational programming that helps couples evaluate principles and experiences that offer a pathway to a successful and harmonious relationship! Counseling is important, but mentorship and marital development are profound steps in our modality, affording coupes the ability to learn relational skills that will help them navigate any and every adversity! We designed the Maritrek Project to give couples every advantage necessary to overcome marital struggles. It’s practical with common sense information and a support staff that understands what it means to be in a healthy marriage.
