Sheila was a great help. I'm new to the area and photography in general, so I was pleased when she offered her help and guidance. The photoshoot didn't feel rushed at all, on the contrary I thought we were done and unbeknownst to me, we weren't, it was a pleasant surprise. It's nice to know that there is someone out there who isn't in it for all the wrong reasons and just as much as you care about your work, Sheila will provide you with the enthusiasm and care that all people you work with should. I enjoyed her honest opinion along with the compassion she should while giving it. It's appreciated.

FAQs

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
BS from Murray State University in Kentucky in Radio and Television with a minor in Advertising. Am experienced in both video and photography.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have been taking photographs for more than 20 years, while balancing a "day job". During that time, I published in small newspapers and business newsletters. I took on small jobs for families that could not afford a working professional photographer and weddings for couples on less than a budget. At one wedding, I was photographer and witness to a young couple looking to get married before the groom deployed. After moving to DC, I finally had the opportunity to pursue this passion as my full time position.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I love unique projects and especially enjoy working with other artists such as musicians, writers and other photographers.
