FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is based on event length and coverage needs, with transparent rates discussed upfront no hidden fees or surprise charges added after booking. A deposit secures your date, with the remaining balance due a week before. Travel within the DMV is included; events outside that radius may include a small travel fee, which I'll always confirm before you book. As a standard part of every package, you'll receive your fully edited gallery within 48 hours (2 business days) for events and 2 weeks for weddings. Most photographers in this market take a week or more, so quick turnaround is built into my pricing rather than offered as a costly rush add-on. I'm happy to put together a custom quote based on your event's specific scope.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
It starts with a quick conversation by phone, email, or message where I learn about your event: date, venue, guest count, and what you want captured (candids, key moments, headshots, branded content, etc.). From there, I put together a clear quote and package recommendation based on your specific needs, no cookie-cutter pricing. Once booked, I confirm a shot list or coverage priorities with you ahead of time so there are no surprises on event day; especially important for multi-room conferences or events with a tight run-of-show. On the day itself, I arrive early to scout the space and lighting, then focus on capturing the event as it unfolds with minimal disruption to your program. Afterward, you'll have your fully edited gallery in hand within 48 hours (2 business days); fast enough that you can still use the content while the event is fresh in everyone's mind.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I regularly invest in professional development through ongoing photography classes and workshops, and I'm a current member of the Professional Photographers of America (PPA). Beyond formal training, my experience is rooted in hands-on work shooting corporate events, and nonprofit projects across the DMV, using professional-grade equipment to deliver polished, fast-turnaround results. I've built my process around what corporate and conference clients actually need; reliable coverage in fast-moving, multi-room environments, tight editing turnaround, and consistent, on-brand image quality.
