John did a terrific job for us. He was especially easy to work with, which was important for us as new homeowners without much experience with contractors, renovations, construction, etc. He was up front about costs and time frame, and worked with us to make sure we got what we needed, but also gave us other options to consider. He also didn't sweat the small stuff... if there was something that he could easily fix outside of the original scope, he went out of his way to get it done at a reasonable cost. I would recommend John/JEMCO to anyone.
By way of background, his work included: kitchen wall demolition and reconstruction (to widen galley kitchen), which included moving an HVAC vent; dryer vent installation; moving 220V outlet; refrigerator water line installation; clothes washer valve installation; hardwood flooring installation; shoe molding and baseboard installation; outlet repair; fixing a leak in the kitchen sink; outlet replacement/repair; recess lighting repair; replacing and installing exterior door; and paint in three rooms.

We hired John to fix what I thought to be a complicated problem, but he came up with a creative solution and he and his team did a great job with the repairs.
One of our exterior walls (which was just a piece of plywood), was deteriorating, but the gap between my house and my neighbor's was less than 10 inches wide. I had no idea how to fix it, but John came up with a great plan (fix from the interior). He did a great job explaining what he was going to do AND why. Best of all, he and the crew did everything they said they were going to do.
I will definitely hire JEMCO for future work on our home.

Great company to work with. Extremely competitive prices and worked efficiently. John and his crew repaired an outside wall and repaired drywall on an inside wall. They also reprinted the walls and fixed trim and crown moulding. Even when the job presented some unexpected complications, including rotted wood that had to be replaced, they completed the project on time!
