I recently hired a handyman through Thumbtack to repair my Next Day Blinds top down bottom up blackout shades. The handyman was professional, arrived on time, and was very courteous throughout the service. I appreciate their effort and time in ordering the necessary parts, especially considering Next Day Blinds have limited repair options available. While the blinds do work now, unfortunately they only function in the bottom up position and have lost the top down functionality, which was the main reason I invested in this specialty type of blind. This impacts my sleep quality, as these are blackout blinds in my bedroom, and without the top down function, I was unable to sleep or get dressed in my own room for some time. The work was done neatly, but the end result doesn’t fully meet my essential needs. I’m giving 4 stars for the good service and tackling a difficult repair, even though the blinds aren’t functioning as intended for my needs.
