Quick Review: Jackie was professional, punctual, clean, attentive, and my makeup looked amazing! Thorough Review: I chose to have my makeup trial at Jackie's home. I immediately noticed (and loved) how clean and organized her space was. During my trial Jackie gathered information on what I wanted, my style, and my skin. She made notes on everything which meant no experimenting or guessing on my wedding day. On the day of, Jackie showed up with plenty of time to get set up before everyone's makeup got started. All of her supplies were clean and organized. Clearly the cleanliness and organization were very important to me. I didn't want clutter, disorganization, or grime on my wedding day. Jackie did makeup for 3 of my bridesmaids and my mom. Everyone looked great. My makeup was phenomenal!!! I felt gorgeous!!! My makeup also lasted all night! Usually my makeup creases around my eyes within a couple of hours, but everything stayed put! This was great since the professional photographer was there till the end! My makeup came off easily when I washed it and my skin did not break out or have any bad reaction. I had gotten eyelash extensions and Jackie was an expert at applying makeup around them. Jackie also covered up my very large and bright upper arm tattoo. People were literally asking me where my tattoo went. The makeup lasted all night! Jackie sent me off with a goody bag for the night! It included a full sized MAC lipstick! Throughout the whole process, Jackie checked in with me occasionally and was super responsive to any questions or concerns I had. She has this wonderful balance of being super organized and on top of things, but is a very calming and mellow presence. She brought such a good vibe to the getting ready process. Jackie was amazing to work with. She's kind, sweet, patient, very skilled, super organized, and really accommodating. Honestly, choosing her and working with her was probably the most stress-free part of our wedding day! My makeup was flawless and *literally* lasted until the next morning. (I fell asleep with it on--whoops--and nothing had budged at all when I woke up the next morning!) I found Jackie by the recommendation of another makeup artist, and I definitely see why. I loved her natural style, but she's also so good at what she does--I asked for extra emphasis on my brows and a super red lip, and she delivered perfectly.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
All of my current rates are listed on my website in the "Services" tab.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I love meeting and getting to know my brides before their wedding date, which is why I also highly recommend that all my brides come and do a trial run with me. I offer airbrush or traditional makeup. During your trial run, I can get a better understanding of your vision of what your wedding day will be like, and with that I will create a makeup style for you that will make you look and feel your very best! My number one goal for all my brides is to make sure you feel like yourself while still feeling like a million bucks! I want your fiance to recognize you and I'm sure he feels the same way! Trial runs are held at my in-home studio and they typically take about an hour and a half to two hours. My studio is a bit cozy, but I'd definitely be okay if you'd like to bring 1-2 people with you for your trial run! Just let me know!

I received my certification in Makeup Artistry at Graham Webb Academy in Arlington, VA.
