Introduction: My grandmother started her own Soul Food Restaurant in downtown DC in the late 80s into the 90s. I grew up learning the art of baking with her. And I understand that being able to customize what a customer is looking for is absolutely key in making their view into a reality. She taught me everything I know, and has left me some of the best recipes around. Baking is now just not only my love but it's also my passion in life.
