Marie Florence Catering is a labor of love for a chef who is passionate about bringing her clients a bite of happiness through food.
This journey started with my mother, Marie Florence Thermidor, who lost her life in 2008 as a result of a rare brain tumor. I dedicate this business to her insurmountable love and courage.
We are a woman-owned and operated catering and personal chef service business who's food captures the essence of our upbringing in New York City and our Caribbean roots. We aim to serve you the most delicious, palette-pleasing food, which we refer to as "love on a plate!"

We worked with Marie Florence Catering for an elevated dinner for 70 people. Vanessa and her team delivered beyond expectation. 😊 We will definitely work again with her.
First, the variety of foods offered was impressive, and the quality was exceptional. The salad, yellow rice, and salmon were particular standouts and received numerous compliments from our guests.
Regarding the process, from the very beginning, her communication was clear and effective, making the planning process seamless.
Every member of your team was professional, friendly, and a joy to work with. Their positive attitude and dedication were evident throughout the event.

I ordered our family thanksgiving dinner from Marie Florence Catering and I am so glad I did! The turkey was fantastic! Chef Vilson went above and beyond to ensure that my special requests were all fulfilled. The food was amazing! Thank you! My family and were grateful fora great dinner.

Marie Florence catered my husband’s 50th birthday party. She uses the best ingredients and cooking tools. There is so much love she puts into her food. Vanessa is professional and friendly. The food was delicious! I have to find more ways to request her service. This is my third time having her food and I’m always thinking about it days later. My 9 year old son is very picky and he said Ms. Vanessa’s fried chicken and collard greens are good.

I think my most favorite part of the catering by Marie Florence is the attention that they put into their products. Every request, every detail
They hit the nail on the head every time! If I had to choose a favorite dish, it would be a tossup between the homemade chocolate donuts in the jumbo macaroni balls! Will definitely be calling them soon! 😋

My experience with Marie Florence Catering was nothing short of fantastic. Vanessa and Nathalie were a joy to have in my home, and their cooking was absolutely delicious. They were attentive to the details of the meal, engaged me the entire time, and even put up with my dog who begged for them to drop something the entire time :) They brought everything they needed and cleaned up my space before leaving. Each bite of food was more delicious than the last, and I would love to work with them again. I would recommend them to anyone who has catering needs in the DC Metro area! Thanks again ladies!
