- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Lesson Rates: 30 minutes – $30 45 minutes – $45 60 minutes – $60 Discounts & Extras: Sibling discounts are available. Free monthly practice sessions are offered from September through May to support continued progress. Payment Details: Lessons are billed on a monthly basis. In-home lessons are available for an additional fee based on travel distance. Accepted Payment Methods: Cash, Zelle, Venmo, and PayPal are accepted. Credit card payments are also available, with a $4 processing fee.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The first lesson includes a complimentary 10-minute meet-and-greet to help students feel comfortable and establish a connection with the instructor. For new students, appropriate lesson books will be recommended during the first session, carefully selected based on age and skill level. Continuing students who already have their own materials are welcome to bring them; the instructor will review previous content and continue instruction using their existing books to ensure a smooth and personalized learning experience.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Amy holds a Music Degree from Montgomery College and brings a well-rounded background in both music education and child development. Her teaching experience includes working in group settings at The Little Gym, where she developed strong skills in engaging young learners. She also worked with other instructors to learn their teaching styles. Amy also have taught adults virtually during covid. Amy is passionate about creating fun, interactive lessons that capture the interest of all students.
