About me: I’ve had a love for animals since I was a child, dubbing the name Little Doolittle. I’m a low volume full time Dog Mom & Sitter who carries Pet Daycare/Boarding Insurance with PCI. I have consistent clients from out of town that board with us every year during the Holidays. Local long term clients as well as clients from Delaware to Virginia as we’re centrally located to several major airports in the Maryland/Washington DC/Virginia area. 15 minutes away to/from BWI Airport 50 minutes to/from Regan National Airport 1 hour to/from Dulles International Airport My rates reflect 13 years experience hosting and caring for paw pups of all ages, sizes & breeds with the ability to provided constant care in a safe and healthy environment. I do low volume boarding with a consistent schedule of clients; therefore I do screen all requests to make sure all guests will feel comfortable with current guests if any are already scheduled around your time frame. My main focus is to ensure that guests are comfortable, stress free and to illuminate any anxiety in order for both guests and parents to enjoy their time away from home. My technique has worked for years and if you read some of the reviews, regular and new clients state that and are amazed. They become long term customers and that should be what you want as a pet parent to give your pet consistency🐾 With a huge fenced in backyard paw guests get plenty of exercise, play time and lots of love. I provide a safe, clean and fun caring home away from home environment for all my paw guests. I do virtual and/or in person consultations prior to all bookings. I know some request may be last minute, but some sort of consultation needs to be done to best assess your paw pet needs while you’re away.. When we reached out to Thumbtack looking for a boarder for our dog, Tee from T’s Happy Dogs Boarding responded quickly and was very professional. We were in a tough situation and needed to move quickly and Tee was great to work with and very thorough in explaining how she approaches things with her guests. We were sold! She has been great and provided great communication while our pet has been with her, and he has acclimated well and is really having a great time with her and the other dogs! We highly recommend her, and certainly will use her again.

We met Tondalayer a few years back when another pet caregiver stood us up. She was super responsive and found space for our dogs right away. Now we won't leave them anywhere else. She takes amazing care of them. They are seniors and she gives them plenty of special care. She sends daily photos and videos while she has them. I can tell they are calm and happy when they come back to us. Highly recommend!

I was looking for a sitter to watch my puppy while I was a way for 5 days. T’s Happy Dogs was the best. She was very detailed and thorough in explaining everything. She video called me to allow me to see the space where the dogs stay and even offered to allow us to do an “overnight” test run. Highly recommend!

We had just come back from a trip and a not so great experience with a DIFFERENT sitter when we had to quickly find a new sitter we would feel comfortable leaving our baby with for overnights. We came across Ms. T’s profile and messaged her…she responded immediately and invited us to FaceTime so that she could show us around her puppy dream-space. T spent almost an hour with us and Baxter…she was incredibly knowledgeable, kind, and responsive. Baxter is our first puppy and leaving him for any amount of time is tough as he is truly a part of our family. We felt like T not only understood this, but would treat Baxter like her own. She recommended a trial overnight to see how he got along with her 2 girls and such to prepare for the longer stay we needed in just a few short weeks. From drop off to pick up Baxter was treated like the fluffy prince he is. We got regular messages, videos and pictures (some are attached here) and could tell he was having a blast and being attentively cared for. Our guy literally slept almost the entire day after we brought him home…Ms. T and her girls really gave him a puppy workout! We are bringing Baxter back for his extended stay in a few days and feel like he’s getting a spring break vacation too! Can’t wait for all of the adorable pics and videos! Just dropped my babies off with Tondalayer. She is so organized. The process was seamless and they have settled in nicely. They already love her! I can’t believe my little yorkies are eating and playing with the other dogs. If I didn’t already receive updates I wouldn’t believe it. So happy I found a home away from home for them🥰

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Collecting as much information as possible to insure that your dog has the most of his/her staycation. Such as making sure all guests are up to date on their vaccinations, in good health and have proper tick and flea treatment. Noting feeding and meditation schedules, getting verified emergency contact information and other relevant information related to his/her stay.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I got started by helping my coworkers that traveled for work and didn’t have anyone at home to care for their dogs as well as I’ve always had my own dogs that enjoyed the huge backyard that were happy to make new friends. Once I retired, I continued to watch my now ex coworkers pets, along with family, friends and referrals.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have a variety of clients, some are seniors and rescue dogs; with having a large backyard I get a lot of puppies with high energy as well. Since covid I’ve had a lot of dogs that have never been away from home.
