February of 2024 we decided to add our availability to the Thumbtack App and it was a great decision. We’ve had such a great year on Thumbtack adding 50 new amazing clients to our roster with most boarding multiple times. Our new clients celebrated one year anniversaries with free nights and doggy dance parties. We’re looking forward to welcoming your pup to have a wonderful experience with us in year two on the Thumbtack App🐾🐾 Book 10 or more nights and get one night free per every 10 nights. T’s Happy Dogs Boarding is a full time insured, low volume boarder with 16 years experience providing a stimulating, secured, safe, clean, smoke free and fun loving environment in a fully fenced in backyard with plenty of outdoor activities to keep paw guests of all sizes & ages engaged and entertained. We provide the following: 24 hr in-home supervision daycare hourly potty breaks short and long term care constant care puppy to senior care minor surgery recovery care 1 private guest suite for 1 dog family at a time meals (dry kibble) dog treats disposable food and water bowls crates for bedtime (10pm) plenty of exercise for high & low energy guests lots of love, cuddles and belly rubs Our lawn is very healthy and grassy, well maintained and serviced bi-weekly with nontoxic and pet friendly sprays for Tick, Flea & Mosquitoes. Boarding/Daycare area is cleaned daily and outdoor wastes are removed and discarded immediately into biodegradable waste bags. My clients are from Delaware and in between to Northern Virginia. We also board lots of guests traveling from out of town when visiting the DC, Maryland and Virginia area. We’re local to/from these 3 major airports and Port Terminal: 15 mins to Baltimore Washington INTL Airport 60 mins to Dulles International Airport 45 mins to Regan International Airport 25 mins to Port of Baltimore Our goal is for all of our guests to feel safe, feel loved, have a great time and make lasting friendships🐾🐾🥰 * all guests must be up to date on vaccinations, a copy of records must be provided “ all guests must be house trained *all inquiries must do a virtual and/or a in person meeting if needed prior to booking * some breeds may not be accepted in order to be in compliance with my dog boarding/daycare insurance policies. *all booking reservations are only guaranteed with a deposit or full payment. *same day reservations an additional fee will be added We look forward to hearing from you soon! I have used T’s Happy Dog Boarding since 2022 and have been very pleased with their services. The owner is very responsive and has accommodated last minute requests for services, which has been very helpful for me. The owner recently provided services after an operation my dog underwent and it was so helpful for me due to what was needed for her care and recovery after surgery. My dog loves it there and I feel satisfied knowing that she feels at home with the owner and the treatment she receives. I will continue to use T’s Happy Dogs Boarding for all my sitting and overnight services until I move from Maryland to another state.

T at Happy Dogs Boarding welcomed my dog, Lola, and sent updates and photos throughout her stay. Lola made new friends (a new skill for Lola!) and seemed right at home during her stay. The private room offered by T was a perfect option since Lola had never been boarded before and was not used to being in her crate. I will definitely be contacting T for my future dog-sitting needs!

T’s boarding was beyond excellent, she did everything in her power to make sure Sachi had a great time, was comfortable in every way too! When she couldn’t sleep, T found the answer for Sachi. I have already booked another stay or two with T. I just can’t say enough great things about T. Love her.

I take deposits and work with you on a payment schedule that works best with your schedule.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Collecting as much information as possible to insure that your dog has the most of his/her staycation. Such as making sure all guests are up to date on their vaccinations, in good health and have proper tick and flea treatment. Noting feeding and meditation schedules, getting verified emergency contact information and other relevant information related to his/her stay.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I got started by helping my coworkers that traveled for work and didn’t have anyone at home to care for their dogs as well as I’ve always had my own dogs that enjoyed the huge backyard that were happy to make new friends. Once I retired, I continued to watch my now ex coworkers pets, along with family, friends and referrals.
