About

Both my wife and I teach lessons! I am a school administrator, and she is an elementary teacher. We love helping children, teens and adults develop their skills! I have been playing piano for 18 years and have taught piano and music theory for 10 years (from beginner lessons to college level classes) I traveled for 4 years as an accompanist for college performance groups, and I have15 years of experience as a church pianist. Over the years I have worked with just about every type of student! Ages of my current and former students range from 3-65. I have also taught music at the college level. As a young child my parents strongly encouraged me to study piano, and by the time I was a teenager, I had fallen in love with it! I began teaching younger students when I was just a teenager and have loved getting to share my passion for music ever since!

Great instructor. She was very welcoming and very informative during my daughter's piano lesson. I can't wait for my daughter's future classes. We will absolutely be working with Allegro piano studio.

I have never played the piano or keyboard in my life, however I always wanted to learn. I found Phil on thumbtack and I have learned so much! I’ve learned all the notes and feel very comfortable playing the keyboard at my current level. Thank Phil, I look forward to continuing my lessons.

We do our best to keep our lessons as affordable as possible. Anyone who does any research in this area will find that we are the most affordable that you will be able to find!
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First lessons are always free! We do this because I do not expect you to make a commitment until you are sure this is a right fit for you! I always meet with prospective students to sit down and discus their goals and help answer any questions they may have. If it is a right fit, we begin to formulate a plan to help the student reach those goals as effectively as possible!
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked with students of ages ranging from 3 to 65! Also, I have worked with all experience levels from beginners to college performance majors!
