I have been working with Anthony for a couple weeks now and have really enjoyed it. He is great for all levels. Every class I get a mix of circuits, cardio, kickboxing, wrestling, etc. Each class is exciting because it's never the same. I started working with Jon-Michael about a month and a half ago. I had been eating poorly, hardly drinking any water, and was generally lost health-wise. From the start, he was interested in what my current habits were, what my goals were, and what I was open to learning. He was and continues to be patient, supportive, and encouraging while giving me the tools and weekly motivation to keep going, make daily small changes to feel better, do more physically, and make progress on my overall health. He has a genuine interest in helping people, and offers help regarding your daily habits (water intake, breathing), as well as nutrition and fitness counseling. Although my journey to health has only just begun, I've already noticed a difference in my body and ability, and feel nothing but optimistic and excited about the future.
Brian is a really good teacher, making sure that lessons are catered to our needs. He makes sure the exercises we do are specific to certain muscles that we need to strengthen. Whenever there is a water break or when we stretch at the end of each class, he teaches us a lot about nutrition, what we should and shouldn't eat, and when the best time to eat is. Each kickboxing class is enjoyable and we learn a lot without getting overwhelmed.
My family and I have been going here for 4 years. Mr.Tull at (PIMA) champions karate is great. Mr. Tull has an awesome method of teaching us. He teaches us the skills that we need to know and we have fun while doing it!
I've been training with Julien about two years now. It began as an at home training experience, and sometimes we would meet at the gym and do some weight training. Many times we worked out at a local park. I've enjoyed working out with Julien because of the sometimes unorthodox exercises that he would do. I lost a lot of weight working with him, and increased my 5k race pace. I enjoy that he draws inspiration from many disciplines such as yoga, meditation, martial arts, weight training, parkour, etc. I think if he had his own gym in a centrally located place it would be awesome. In his gym, he could have jungle-gym inspired equipment in addition to weight training equipment, so we could have a gym (indoors) that would support his style of training. As he grows, perhaps this is what will happen one day :)
