The mechanic contacted me within an hour of the time I contacted Thumbtack with my issue (Generac generator failed to start. We agreed on a time to assess the generator on Monday at 10 am. He was prompt, got the gernerator assessed, started, battery charged, and identified the issue and went the following morning and purchased a new battery, installed it and retested the generator. Price was reasonable and fair. He was professional and pleasant. I provided him with the address of my home to price a generator install there. I should have the quote early next week. I will add another note regarding the new generator install. Great work, Ronnie. I'll never call the "other guys" again.

Had 14 individual steel beds that needed to be stacked into 7 pairs of bunk beds. They had to cut the bottoms off the ones to go on top, and the tops of each corner post for the ones to go on the bottom. The job was challenging, requiring ingenuity to disassemble the beds from the headboards and footboards, so the top would go on the bottom with connector pieces. The job was done and completed within the estimated time, including touch up painting of the areas that had to be cut. Awesome job!

Ronnie cheerfully adapted to three different schedule/location change requests before driving out to me. He replaced a Jeep throttle body and flushed the carborator in our lawnmower before assessing our work truck. He was extremely knowledgeable, very efficient, and really nice to my dog :) We plan on hiring him again for several more projects.

$98.00 hr , We do offer flat rate as well
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Mechanics on Wheelz, is a full garage on wheels, we will provide our customers with an estimate of services and we ask that you review the estimate and sign the agreement before any work is started. We value our customers and want to make sure they are pleased when all the work is completed. We do offer a 3 month/6000 miles warranty on any automobile job we purchase parts for. We have a service fee of $50.00 for any job that is 1 hour outside of Frederick County, Maryland. We treat our customers like family. Your satisfaction is extremely important to us.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our Mechanics are ASE Certified and have at least 15 plus years experience. Some are master techs. Our power equipment tech is Honda and Gold Sthil Certified and can work on any piece of equipment from generators, lawn mowers, welders, to large tractor trailers. We are licensed and insured.
