Our first interaction was good and I was excited to have the work done. We scheduled for the following weekend. He was supposed to arrive by 8:45. As I write this it is 10:24am and I have heard nothing from him. I left messages, texts and even called the company for which he works with no response. The company didn’t even attempt to offer me a replacement. My home is a mess because we have removed everything from my kitchen. I am in a mess with no solution. I will be contacting a different company to do my work. Whatever you do leave this guy and his company alone.

They told me they would arrive yesterday at 3:30pm, so I left work early. However, the company never arrived and didn't reply to my messages. I frequently use Thumbtack, and this is the first time something like this has happened. I've also left many positive reviews to support businesses. This level of unprofessionalism is unacceptable, so I made sure to write an honest review.

I received a grant through the Maryland Department of Aging to have several repairs done in my home. I am not only physically disabled but have neurological deficits as well so the grant is managed by a social worker. Of all the repair workers I dealt with, Sunshine plumbing was by far the worst. I was to get 3 quotes to replace my faucet and garbagedisposal and perhaps some under sink turn off valves. The quote he gave me was the best out of the 3 quotes so I was sure he was going to be my plumber. He talked to my social worker, agreed to accept payment from the state and I even had him on the phone with me as I ordered a faucet and garbagedisposal from home depot so he could tell me the right ones to get. He just needed to submit a written estimate to my social worker to be approved so work could begin. First he said he'd stop by over the weekend. He did not call or text and he did not show up all weekend. I made it clear that time was of the essence and he said he would come out on Tuesday between 12 and 2pm. Great we had an appointment and I was so excited. No one showed up. I called. I texted. I texted again. I called. I messaged well into the evening. I never heard from them again. They were a complete waste of time. It worked out well for me though. Because he was the third estimate and he didn't show up it was decided to go with the second estimate. They had already that paid that plumber his fee for the estimate he did earlier and they already had his paperwork and estimate so it fast tracked and approved immediately so as not to waste any more time. He was the plumber I really wanted anyway because he was very professional and punctual. Now it's just a matter of him finding time to do the work because now he's all booked up. If you want to be lied to, ignored and ghosted go with Sunshine Plumbing. Otherwise do yourself a favor and find someone with plenty of positive reviews.

You explained to me that you had four or five contractors contacting you at the same time, we have been trying to contact you through my direct number which is 410-365-5990 and we have not been getting any responses. I’m glad you were able to get it worked out with another estimate. I would ask you to revisit your review as I do not believe your comments are accurate.
