steve of furniture MD1 not only performed the assessment of damage to my furniture, he made other suggestions based on his experience. he took 3 items to his warehouse for repair and will complete work in my apartment when he returns.

Took a 1930’s table that had been used as a craft table with cuts and he was able to make it beautiful again. Gave great options for finishes and finished new chairs to match. Highly recommend.

Steve was knowledgeable about different types of wood and offered information regarding stains. He provided links to show how stains worked with a wide variety of wood, which helped immensely with my selection. The oak pedestal table and four chairs, which belonged to my parents, turned out beautifully, looking as they did when purchased years ago. The workmanship was excellent. I would highly recommend Furniture MD1!

Steve did a great job! A cable on our Rooms-to-Go sleeper sofa broke. Steve came to see the problem, ordered the correct replacement part, and came back and installed it. He was pleasant, efficient, and solved the problem. We would definitely use him in the future.

I couldn’t be happier with the work! He sanded and stained my table to match an existing piece of furniture, and the finished result exceeded my expectations. My table looks brand new, and the quality of the finish is beautiful.
