Shello! My name is Aryanna, and I am so excited to meet you. I have been teaching swim lessons since I was 16 years old when I was living in Japan. Together, we can explore the world of mermaids and their ocean friends! I have taught children and adults with varied needs (various languages, hard of hearing, special needs) around the world! I am also an OSSE-certified reading specialist and certified ELL/special education and elementary school educator. I have a master's degree in the science of reading, and I am currently completing my doctorate in education. I have taught in DCPS for over 13 years. Ary is an amazing swim instructor. She is very patient and puts you at ease with her smile, calm, reassuring voice. I (adult) made significant improvement in learning how to tread water within 15minutes of taking her lesson. This also helped ease my fear of swimming in deeper than 5 feet of water. My daughter is taking swim lessons from Ary and she loves it. Learn to swim with Ary. Your time spent with her will be worth every minute.
