I was completely satisfied with their services. They did the assessment. Showed me the pictures and then gave me the estimate of the charges. When I called to say I was ready a date was given when the services could be completed and it was. They cleaned up and took all the old materials with them.

Very responsive to my initial request on Thumbtack and we quickly scheduled an appointment. They arrived on time to the appointment with my tenants and diagnosed the issue. However, they never provided feedback to me thereafter. I followed up three times over several days to ask for their feedback and schedule the works, but I never received a reply. Not sure what happened but this quite unprofessional.

Great experience with First Class Chimney Services! Everything from quote to getting the work done was handled professionally and with care. On the exterior, I had damaged bricks and mortar replaced/repaired and waterproofing applied. They then removed the original clay liner and replaced it with a stainless steel flue and insulation around it. They tuckpointed the firebox, applied sealer from the firebox to start of the new flue and painted the firebox black. Finally, they installed a new spring loaded damper at the top of the stack that is easy to open and close from the firebox. The crew worked quickly but with care and at no point did I feel worried about what was going on. They were very consistent about putting on fabric slippers over their shoes when entering the house and removing them when exiting.Now I feel confident and safe using my over 50 years old fireplace! I highly recommend this company for your chimney related needs.
