- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?I only charge flat rates! A core belief of mine is cost-effectiveness for the client with no surprises. As a result, you can be assured that my pricing is one of the best you'll find in the Washington and Baltimore areas.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?It all starts with a consultation. Once I get a good feel for you and your wants/needs and goals, I formulate a plan based on what I like to call building blocks. This consists of a basic outline of a color palette with a neutral or two for balance, textures, fabrics and patterns/prints. I believe in structure and falling in line with my ability to be cost-effective, my building blocks will have created an outline for you to follow as you evolve by being able to add on easily. But, of course, I am always here to help!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have an education in Interior Design and have always pursued opportunities to learn and grow. I have been a stylist, creative director and interior designer since 2001. I have worked in both the fashion and home décor sectors. Shortly after beginning my career I was quickly identified as a leader in the field. I have developed seminars to train and develop future visual merchandisers, stylists and leaders. I have also collaborated and worked on department store prototypes to assist in the elevation of shoppers' experiences which include major department store renovations with several construction projects happening simultaneously. My work has been award winning and has been seen in fashion shows, events such as Washington, DC's Pink Tie Party (an exclusive event of the Cherry Blossom Festival) and HRC Gala. Recently, I have had the privilege of mentoring at a youth education program for fashion and merchandising. The social media platform Muses On Demand has named me one of their Muses of the Week. Fun fact: I have been performing flute since 1991 and studied the Recording Arts and Sciences before studying interior design and fashion.
