Elmer helped us complete a roughed-in basement bathroom in the basement from start to finish. He did it all - from electrical, to shower tile install, toilet, vanity, lighting, etc. Elmer is easy to communicate with, very respectful, punctual, always updates you on the progress, and most importantly of all, he is a very honest, hardworking, and very nice person. He was so helpful talking us through the process and helping us with decisions when we had no idea where to even start. We are looking forward to hiring Elmer again for our kitchen remodel. Elmer is, without exaggeration, the most honest, competent, diligent, and punctual contractor Ive ever worked with. Over 25 years of homeownership including a major house extension Ive met quite a few contractors, and Elmer stands out above them all.Honesty and diligence: Even if youre satisfied with the result, Elmer might not be. In such cases, he will gently insist on correcting or redoing the work, spending as much time as necessary to achieve the best possible outcome.Competence and creativity: Time and again, Elmer has found solutions to problems that seemed like dead ends.Punctuality: When we scheduled our first meeting with Elmer for 9:00 a.m., he called at 8:45 to apologize that traffic might delay him by 15 minutes. He arrived at 9:10. That level of consideration speaks volumes.Today, we dont start any house project without consulting Elmer first. Unfortunately for us, hes become much busier latelybut wed rather wait than undertake a significant project without his guidance.
