If I was able to rate Tony above outstanding I would have done that. Tony assisted me with my 2013 and 2014 Tax return. Tony took the time to sit down with me and review my W2 forms as well as help me with my reimbursement for my graduate classes. Tony went above and beyond to make sure I get back my reimbursement for my graduate school as well my federal and state tax return. During tax season is very busy for private accountants. Tony answered my phone calls and emails right away and made sure I understood my tax returns. I would highly recommend Tony Di Fatta, CPA to anyone who needs assistance with tax preparation. A friend referred me to Tony after my accountant of ten years sadly passed away. I was left in a difficult situation. My taxes for year 2014 were past due and the clock on the extension was quickly ticking. Add to these complexities was the fact that I was going through a divorce and had tax complexities as a result. I was in need of a true professional able to step in and help get this situation ironed out, and that is exactly what Tony did for me. Upon talking to him I immediately realized he really knew his field. He quickly, easily, and efficiently guided me through the obstacles that can pop-up when you have a colorful history. Perhaps what was most important though was his demeanor and understanding. I never felt uncomfortable with my situation when I told him my story. He understood, as he had seen it before. Tony was really fast getting back to me, and he was just as quick getting everything pulled together and filed. I simply cannot recommend him enough. Tony understood my concerns. He came up with a long term tax solution and helped me understand the importance of implementing a new plan. Tony was the first accountant to actually sit down with me and explain "why" we need to do the things we need to do. Tony provided a detailed and comprehensive plan that will help me achieve my personal as well as business goals.

Small business tax returns ranging from companies with 10's of thousand of sale to companies with millions. We handle clients that file file to several state to just MD. We also handle individuals taxes of all shapes and sizes.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
1. Find someone you want to work with. 2. You can't do it yourself. The tax code is every changing and too complex. 3. Don't over pay. Large firms will cost you an arm and leg to get the same advice we will give you. In fact you will be dealing with us directly not some staff whom doesn't know you.
