Introduction: Klodina’s lessons allows students to thrive in the enjoyable teaching environment she creates. Not only do the students develop their skills through the professional advice of a flute teacher with more than 25 years of teaching experience but they are also encouraged to show their creativity and their own artistic character by choosing the music that they love. Nothing makes me happier than being able to teach students and help them become better at playing the flute/piano and understanding the music they are spreading to others. I love helping my students achieve more and inspiring and stimulating them to become better musicians through regular practice and a sense of independence. My goal has always been to be a facilitator in my students’ journeys to success and hopefully to encourage them to fall in love with the flute just like I did at a very young age.

I had originally wanted a in person  lesson for my daughter, but it was difficult to find anyone to respond within my area. I started communicating with Klodina, and she was so nice on the phone I decided to give online lessons a try. She started online lessons in December, and it is just as helpful as in person lessons.  Klodina is a great teacher for my daughter. She learned so much in her first lesson, my  daughter was so excited because she saw the difference in how she played the flute almost instantly.  Lessons were dedicated to a specific  skill and early this year it was mastering an audition piece to try out for a preforming arts high school next year.  She passed the audition, and he had been accepted and will be in marching and concert band next year. She is so happy and I honestly feel she couldn't have accomplished this without the experienced  teaching from Klodina.

I have really enjoyed working with Klodina. I am picking the flute back up after 35 years and she puts me at ease and I have a lot of fun in my lesson. I never feel rushed and she is very flexible with my ever-changing work schedule. I can already sense an improvement in my skill after only 4 lessons

I played and studied flute privately over 40 years ago. I decided to pick up my flute after all those years. I contacted Thumbtack for a flute teacher. Ms. Kabashi Morina answered my request within 1 day. I have been studying with Klodina Kabashi Morina for two months. I have found Ms Kabashi Morina to be pleasant, understanding, patient and extremely knowledgeable. With me, she started with the basics of flute since I had not played for many years. She explained and demonstrated the correct breathing technique, embouchure, finger positions, etc. I look forward to my weekly lessons. I find them educational and fun. I highly recommend Ms Kabashi Morina for people of all levels ( beginning to advanced ). Sincerely, Deborah Russell

Being an extremely busy professional, I needed an option for flute lessons other than having to physically drive to a lesson. However, I definitely wanted a true, professional, hands-on teacher that would quickly advance me in my studies and skills. I didn’t want some online waste of time where I still felt like I was learning by myself. ENTER KLODINA. Changed my world. She’s so knowledgeable, patient and kind AND knows all the tips to make you excel faster without feeling overwhelmed. She provides endless options for materials. The lessons are fantastic. The hours I save NOT DRIVING, I can PRACTICE! What a true pleasure. I was hesitant at first to think lessons via FaceTime would work, but I’m 110% sold. I know I could not have maintained the high level of commitment if I actually had to drive to meet for a lesson. Thank you Klodina. You are truly a rare gem. Thank you ! thank you! thank you!

I enjoyed your lessons. I began flute lessons when I was in college; I had lessons with you for three years. You are a very motivational, patient and positive teacher. I thoroughly enjoyed those lessons. Your lessons benefited me a lot and will always look forward to your instructions. Thanks! Nakalema Rebecca, Uganda

FAQs

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

My flute lessons allow students to thrive in an enjoyable teaching environment that I always aim to create. Not only do students develop their skills though my professional advice as an experienced flute teacher but they are encouraged to show their creativity and own artistic character by choosing the music they love. For beginner students i work with the Rubank method book and songs that most students love to play but I am open to use other methods as well. I like using flashcards, so students can quickly develop their site-reading. I use deferent techniques that meet the individual capacity of the students and adults. For intermediate and advanced students i prefer scales, etudes (exercises), sonatas, concertos and solo pieces of their preference. I like to play duets with my students and that is usually their favorite part as we can combine talents to play something beautiful. I encourage and support my students to do more and excel in their performance as a solo performer, part of a band, in competitions, etc.
