Introduction: Iyengar teachers are the best trained and most experienced in the world. It takes 3-5 years to become an Iyengar teacher at the basic level of Introductory I. There are 12 levels of teachers! So, an Iyengar teacher studies their whole lives reaching each level when they have passed the requirements. Each student brings their own puzzle to the class. It is fascinating to figure out each puzzle and help the student become more self- aware and healthy.

Basically healthy people who have let themselves get rigid and tight are the most common people who come to my studio. Then their are a few serious conditions like Lymes disease, cancer, and fibromyallgia.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Check their credentials! Too many yoga teachers out there have very little training and practically no experience.
