We were struggling with our malmute when he was in his crate during the day. Our trainer Brent did an excellent investigation into different techniques to find a solution. He was transparent about what different things he was trying, such as sound blankets and a stand up kennel, which allowed us to be aware of what was working and what wasnt. He sent us videos regularly and was very quick in responding to our questions. Finn also came back with excellent door manners, place and sit and heel. We were impressed with Finns progress as malamutes can be very stubborn, playful and challenging to train! I highly recommend Tall Tales Academy! From initial interview to enrollment to Finn coming home, they were thorough and informative. They use WhatsApp to create a streamline between the pet owner and trainer in an effort to monitor all conversations, and make communications easier.. Tall Tales Academy only uses the treats and love strategy in their training, no shock or e collars. They also offer a payment plan through Affirm if the cost of boarding training may be an obstacle financially for you!

I would definitely recommend this training. My 6 months old pup came back crate and potty trained and is way better at walking on leash outdoors. Royah was really knowledgable and pleasant to work with. She was very approachable and answered all my questions during and post training. Also, she was amazing with my pup. Tail Tales Academy did a a great job in coordinating between the trainer and me.Only thing to note is that their advertisement which says 'everyday check-ins' is not accurate. You will probably receive a couple of updates per week unless you prod for more. I didn't really mind this because I was fine with getting forced updates upon prodding. But, just something you should keep in mind. But, that being said, I am extremely happy with the training my pup received. Would highly recommend!

Royah, our dogs trainer was exceptional. She truly understands dog behavior and taught us and Maggie how to have a more peaceful, respectful and enriched relationship. Prior to seeing Royah, we worried we wouldnt get some control over her most noxious behaviors. Its made a dramatic difference in our home.

Tail Tales team was very responsive and helpful in getting me the training that I needed for my dog right away and on short notice as well. They had me set up with a trainer in less than a week which no other company around me could have done. Great experience with the Tail Tales Team.

I had an excellent experience working with Toni from Tail Tales Academy for my new Standard Poodle puppy. From the very first session, she demonstrated a deep understanding of puppy behavior and effectively implemented training techniques that truly worked. My puppy now responds reliably to basic commands like sit, stay, and off/down, which has made our daily interactions much more enjoyable and manageable.Toni was also able to stop my puppys nipping habit, which had been a concern early on. Her positive reinforcement strategies made a noticeable difference in a short amount of time. Im thrilled with the progress and grateful for the personalized guidance that tailored to my puppys needs.
