Introduction: Sweet Rock Stables, a full-care horse boarding facility, is located in Manchester, MD. Our facilities provides boarders with the opportunity to enjoy their horses year-round with outdoor and indoor riding areas as well as access to trails that lead to the nearby Prettyboy Reservoir trails. Sweet Rock Stables also hosts all-breed open schooling shows during the temperate months of the year; we are active members of both the Pennsylvania Morgan Horse Club and the American Morgan Horse Association. We offer younger equestrians the opportunity to join our youth group activities, which are American Morgan Horse Association affiliated, for a little old-fashioned barn fun and for them to learn more about horse riding and horse-related subjects. Roxy is amazing! She's very knowledgeable and a great teacher. I've never riden a horse before and she's extremely patient with my lack of experience. The barn is beautiful and very clean and all her horses are beautiful! I recommended anyone who is interested in taking lessons to see her!

My 8 year old daughter has had 4 lessons with Roxy. We are very happy with the quality of her lessons. Roxy puts safety at the forefront of each interaction our daughter has with the horses. She also instills confidence in our daughter by providing constructive and positive feedback. We could not be happier.
