I incorporate in my teaching how to play the piano, understanding of music theory, and rhythm by playing the percussion instruments (for younger children). Repertoire ranges from classical to pop music. The joy is to have the student discover the fun of playing the piano and understanding the theory behind it.

I came to Mrs.Yuki with no experience, couldnt even read music. Within weeks she had me reading and understanding the very basics of playing and reading piano. Im so glad i found her. Im a student for life!

Our teenage daughter started with Yuki several years ago, uncertain if she would last more than a few months. Since then, the lessons have been going so well that we have bought a new piano. In fact, I (her father) have started taking lessons with Yuki as well. Yuki is very friendly, patient and a great teacher. Highly recommended.

The best piano teacher ever rated by my two kids. It’s so sad that we have to move away from MD, our kids miss her a lot. So hard to find a new piano teacher since, my kids always try to compare the new teacher to Yuki…

Usually, a student has a trial lesson, meet with and discuss what their goals are and then schedule a lesson lesson.
