Many years ago, I was a horrible public speaker. Despite being personable with friends, whenever I had to speak in front of a group in a more formal setting, I got nervous, anxious, and was constantly stumbling over my words.
At some point, I told myself this is not the person I want to be anymore. I don’t want to live the rest of my life in fear of the next time I had to speak in front of a crowd.

I started working with Arthur because strong public speaking is a key factor in succeeding in my role. I’m a Senior Solutions Engineer in Application Security, and being able to present clearly and with confidence isn’t a nice to have for me, it’s central to the job. I’ve done multiple sessions with him, both on the skill in general and on preparing for specific presentations I had to give at work.
He’s extremely knowledgeable, and he’s a genuinely great teacher, which are not the same thing. He was quick to understand what I specifically needed to improve, and he communicates it clearly and demonstrates it rather than just describing it. He also always explains the reasoning behind each method, which is the part that made it stick for me. I wasn’t memorizing rules, I was understanding why they work.
The exercises are where it really came together. He prescribes them and then walks through them with me, and the whole thing feels safe from judgment and genuinely comfortable. That made a big difference. I got far more reps than I would have on my own, and I was able to honestly analyze my own abilities and understand both what to improve and how to improve it.
His methods are effective and they translate into real world results. Beyond the coaching, he’s an incredible speaker and leader himself. I feel privileged to have had the opportunity to learn from him, and a lot of what he’s given me has helped me in my career.

Everyone should take a public speaking class. There is always room for improvement even if presenting isn’t something you do on the daily. Arthur’s public speaking lessons has been very helpful to me. Now, I feel like I can better articulate when having conversations with my friends. As a teacher, it has increased my confidence in my presentations. Arthur is the perfect coach because he’s nonjudgmental and very friendly. As a shy person, I was nervous doing something like this, but Arthur instantly made me feel welcomed and motivated me to gain a skill that once was a roadblock for me. Arthur is a great public speaker himself. During the training, he is practicing what he preaches, so there was never a dull moment in the lesson. Take the class, it’s life changing.
