nitially we hired The Master's Finish to paint and repair bedroom walls badly damaged by wallpaper removal and to give a fresh coat of paint to the foyer, stairwell and upstairs hallway walls and trim. John could not have been more professional and his work was excellent; when he was finished, the walls looked like new! He caulked the trim and repaired other areas that I didn't even ask him to do. The following year John returned to do the same with another bedroom and two bathrooms. Again, the work was outstanding. Recently, he repaired our kitchen ceiling that had been damaged by an upstairs leak and the work was flawless. In all instances, John took great care to protect our floors, furniture and cabinets from paint splatters and cleaned up every day before leaving. He is my number one choice!

I've used The Master's Finish twice for drywall and could not be happier with the results! John is professional and highly skilled and very easy to work with. I've had both minor repairs and whole walls installed and have been incredibly happy with the final products. Pricing is very reasonable and John does his best to keep the prices low. I'll be calling John for more drywall repairs in the near future and I highly recommend his services!

The Master's Finish has done excellent work for us on several drywall repair and painting jobs. The biggest job was to design, drywall, and paint our entire basement. John was very responsive to our needs, tweaking the design along the way as we came up with new ideas. His quality of craftsmanship and attention to detail is remarkable, especially as evidenced by his masterful drywall work around the typical obstructions in a basement ceiling. He also worked in unison with other subcontractors, such as woodworkers and electricians. Throughout the long process, I never felt like there was anything to worry about, and knew it was going to end as a job well done. We now have a basement that is not only an integral part of our home, but one that I am proud to show off to guests. John gets my highest recommendation.

Generally the pricing is based on the job. We provide a set price for the work we contract to perform. We do our best to avoid surprises.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I enjoy the opportunity to meet new customers and see how we can help. Generally, upon seeing and getting an understanding of the scope of the job, we provide an estimate within a day or two. Once we have an agreement we work out a starting date and quickly get the work done.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I began in the drywall and painting trades in 1987. After many years in the trade, I started my own company in 1999. Since then, we've built a reputation of many happy customers, and many friends along the way.
