Introduction: Hello, my name is Joan Jones (it really is). I own/operate Media Makeup 4 U in Maryland. I have feature film, music videos and TV experience. My resume, head shots of cast and some portfolio pictures are posted on my website or as it is difficult to keep up electronically, I use Facebook and Twitter for my most current projects. Updates: I did all standard beauty and FX for film "LoveCycle", finished book trailer for "Tomorrow's Seduction", which included a murder/stabbing scene. NYC comic con event, also just wrapped filming on "King Sun", a sexy suspense film "Around The World", a PTSD film "For the Love of a Fish" and a comedy for "He Said She Said" and have released several music videos, one for "Dolo" by Marz Lovejoy and another music video with "Sin the Saint" (rap/hip-hop artist) for "Eye Candy". Both videos are on YouTube, Reverbnation and other music outlets. Another music video is for "Love Noir" by Kitty Boy. I do light hair (braiding, straightening, etc. and no hair extensions). I have limited FX skills, i.e., bullet holes, scars and knife wounds. I have worked on a zombie/thriller type music video also using special effect skills. Check me out. I go from plain to insane.
