This was my third move in about a year, and I really wasn't looking forward to doing it again because the last two companies I'd hired before did a lackluster job. I chose A&M because they were the most polished and professional right off the bat with their responsiveness and intake process, and luckily that proved to be my experience through the rest of the contract period. Intake: I got an estimate back same day with transparent pricing details. Once I reserved my day/time, it was clear what was expected of me in terms of next steps (such as information to provide, forms to sign, and due dates). It was easy to complete these tasks through the portal. Amber also called me two days before the move to verbally confirm and answer any questions. Arrival/loading: I got advanced notification of arrival time, which was within the two hour window originally provided. While loading, the crew of three guys were very careful with my stuff, from wrapping/covering pieces, loading the truck with intention, and strapping things down once it was all in. Transport/unloading: They were also super quick to get to the unload location, arriving within 10 minutes of when I did. The crew unloaded with the same thought and intention as they did when putting my stuff on the truck. Wrapping up: They made sure I was happy with everything before they wrapped up with payment, which was also a quick and easy process with no unexpected charges. Ultimately, they got everything done in less time than originally estimated. Overall: Definitely recommend and would hire again. From end-to-end, I felt A&M valued me as a customer. Everyone I interacted with from office/admin staff to moving crew was friendly, professional, and took care/pride in their work. Thanks, A&M, for making my move easy and stress-free.

Hands down the best moving company I’ve ever used! The folks who showed up to move me out and in were extremely professional and kind. They treated my possessions with such care and wrapped everything super thoroughly. I had to keep stuff in storage for a few weeks and A&M took care of everything. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone needing movers, and I’ll definitely use them again in the future.

I called A&M to help me with my my move - belongings in a storage unit and a Baltimore row home- to another Baltimore row home. Parking is tight, stairs are many, and the work is hard. Devon was the lead on my move and he was friendly, engaging, helpful, and suggestive. I really enjoyed working with him and his team. Got everything done for me in approximately 3 HRs. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing for local and residential moves are based on either and hourly price or flat price. Both options will be discussed. If there are specialty items the price of the items moved will also be discussed. For long distance moves there will be a flat rate. NO HIDDEN FEES or Surprises on the day of your move !
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We use a software to assist with virtual estimates, we offer a refundable deposit system, and our relocation specialists are there for you through every step of the process.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We have been in the industry for years and we have certified movers that have completed The proper moving training. We are DOT certified & have intrastate licensing. This is the newest of our five locations.
