Value Dry was quick to send a technician to complete the estimate. He was punctual, thorough, reviewed all the possible options and tried to work within my budget. The work was impeccable, and the house left cleaner than initially. Plus they provides a transferable 8 year warranty for the sump pump they installed. Truly outstanding company.

Tyler, my technician on 3/10/26, was very thorough and explained every procedure and step that he was doing during the maintenance check. He made sure my sump pump was working properly and made sure to clean the area in which he worked.

We believe this is one of the most important services that we offer to our customers. We also perform these inspections for customers that have not been left high and dry because the company that installed their waterproofing system is now defunct all over the Mid Atlantic Baltimore Washington DMV region. Our ValueDry installation was a few years ago and they still return each year to inspect and ensure a quality product. This year our technician was Raul, who arrived precisely on time (military habit he said), and walked us through each point of his inspection. He also pointed out that water from the recent snowmelt was nearing our external air vent and would need an extension to our downspout. His manner was polite and professional and he represented ValueDry extremely well. Great company great experience.

Value Dry Waterproofing offers free inspections to customers within our service area.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
In basement waterproofing and crawl space encapsulation, there is no one-size-fits-all solution that will work for everybody, so our first steps are to meet with the homeowners, assess the problem, and present the recommendations for fixes. Our inspectors will answer questions about approximate costs, how the work is performed, how long it takes, and the pro/cons of each solution. Our inspectors work with the homeowner to design a customized scope of work taking into consideration their future plans and desired peace of mind. Several options will be presented and decisions will need to be made effecting warranty coverage.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Value Dry has been waterproofing basements and encapsulating crawl spaces in Maryland, DC and Virginia under the same management for over 20 years. We have certified basement waterproofing, crawl space encapsulation and egress specialists on staff. Well over a hundred years of combined experience on staff.
