We recently used Value Dry for our basement waterproofing project. We had to wait about a month for it to rain significantly enough for us to judge whether it was money well spent.Yesterday we finally saw our new system in action. Previously, water would seep in thru the foundation walls and spread out across the basement floor, but yesterday there were no signs of water and we could hear it being collected in the system and routed to the sump pump, which efficiently discharged it thru the outflow pipe and into the catch basin in the back yard (as planned).The drain system works great, the sump is quiet when it kicks on, and the wall panels/vapor barrier gives our basement a much more "finished" look. The job was done on time and the crew were respectful of the work space and neighbors. No more backbreaking hours spent "shopvaccing" water of the basement floor after storms!

Adan and Mar along with a helper showed up early on Friday and did a beautiful job replacing our sump, tying all our downspouts together and installing a new drain and waterproofing our leaking block wall. Earlier in the week Corbin, their estimator, came out and spent a couple hours with us going over what needed to be done and how it would be done in a very detailed fashion. They were very helpful and friendly and cleaned up after the job was done. Kudos to them all!!

Value Dry Waterproofing offers free inspections to customers within our service area.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
In basement waterproofing and crawl space encapsulation, there is no one-size-fits-all solution that will work for everybody, so our first steps are to meet with the homeowners, assess the problem, and present the recommendations for fixes. Our inspectors will answer questions about approximate costs, how the work is performed, how long it takes, and the pro/cons of each solution. Our inspectors work with the homeowner to design a customized scope of work taking into consideration their future plans and desired peace of mind. Several options will be presented and decisions will need to be made effecting warranty coverage.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Value Dry has been waterproofing basements and encapsulating crawl spaces in Maryland, DC and Virginia under the same management for over 20 years. We have certified basement waterproofing, crawl space encapsulation and egress specialists on staff. Well over a hundred years of combined experience on staff.
