FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My prices range depending on where the wedding or event is located, the date of the event and how many people need makeup. All pricing includes false eyelashes unless otherwise stated. I accept cash, checks, venmo, paypal and square cash!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
For bridal clients, I generally require that all of my brides have a trial run at least a month or two before the wedding. This insures that my client is as comfortable as possible on the big day, and I am clear on the exact look she hopes to achieve. I am also happy to do trial runs for any other bridal party members and/or family members. A lot of my clients schedule their trial runs on the same day as their engagement party, bachelorette party or bridal shower! For non-bridal clients, trial runs are not required but are certainly welcome. A small deposit and signed contract is generally needed to book my makeup services on your wedding date, and the deposit is applied to the total cost of services on the date of the event.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I personally trained with Lisa Johnson, owner and artist of Kiss and Makeup - one of the most prominent wedding makeup artists in western Pennsylvania - for several years prior to founding Take a Vow Makeup.
