I run a one man production department in Howard County. Last month I needed help with three different productions. All three were live events, two were half day events all were streamed live. He also taped and edited them into a final production with the finished product placed on YouTube within 24 hours. All of these events Marty had less then 7 days notice to prepare. Marty was always on time and prepared for what ever was needed to complete the assignment. He not only worked closely with me but with many other staff members to assure that the events went smoothly. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Every project we work on is different. Each job is unique. Some competitors charge a half or full day rate, no matter how long the job is. We charge by the hour. And if we get it done faster then expected, we only charge you for the time used.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
If time allows, we prefer to have a meeting or conference call. This helps give us a better understanding of your needs and requirements.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Marty Jenoff is the president of Focal Point and serves as the lead contact on every job. Marty got his start in video production almost 30 years ago at the age of 13. He has B.S. degree from Towson University. He has worked as a photojournalist and editor at WBAL-TV (Baltimore's NBC affiliate) for the last 15+ years. Marty is also the President of the Baltimore Videographer Association and a volunteer EMT at the Owings Mills Volunteer Fire Company.
