Good morning Chef Celestine, First and foremost, you are wonderful. I had planned to be in the kitchen to learn alongside My grandson. However instantly, even before stepping inside his house, you created a working relationship with Kelly that showed how well you read people (just-turned 12 kids included). I did not want to interrupt that relationship. His exciting 4 hours of flour everywhere pasta class was a spectacular scene, with an encore...magical clean-up, leaving our family of 5 at the table enjoying the MOST delicious from scratch: 3-cheese ravioli with 5-star Marinara, fettuccini in fresh pesto, capresse salad, and garlic bread. Absolutely no room was left for the chocolate chip cannoli, which we devoured anyway. Normally we would have frozen all the left overs for a later meal, BUT so irresistible, it was finished off for Sunday's lunch and dinner. Those recipes will be keepers! Kelly will remember the time spent with you for a lifetime and I expect use his new skills for as long. Thank you Chef Celestine so very much!!! Kelly's Grammy PammyOct 29, 2018Verified
Wedding and Event Catering
Chef Celestine and the entire crew at Sweet Bazil are amazing! We hired them for our wedding on October 13, 2018 and I couldn't be happier with the choice. Not only did I receive multiple compliments on the food and decor, but the entire team's professionalism made a complicated day so easy! Planning a wedding without a wedding planner was difficult and stressful but Chef Celestine, Danielle, and staff made it so easy. They were with us every step of the way, agreeable to last minute changes, and even helped us with the stuff we didn't know we needed. I could not recommend them enough! Oh and if you don't get the mac&cheese, you are missing out! if a thousand good stars were possible then I would leave a thousand star review!Oct 19, 2018Verified

The level of professionalism was outstanding. Chef Celestine is an astute businesswoman as well as an excellent chef. The food was great. I am still hearing positive comments from attendees. I would highly recommend her for any event.Oct 26, 2017Verified
Event Catering (Drop-off)
I flew into town to plan my father's memorial. Mom wanted food delivered, set up, and kept tidy. We ordered from Wegman's and hired Chef Celestine. From the first contact with Sweet Bazil, staff were thorough professionals, confirming details and keeping phone appointments. Chef Celestine talked me through everything I should consider and I opted for her coffee tea station and sterno warmers, along with three extra hours of her day. At first I wondered what she would be doing the whole time, but was so glad I had Chef's helping hands. She washed and replenished, and repacked food, so that at the end, there was literally nothing for me to do! If I lived here, I would definitely find an event for her to actually cook for. But for our family gathering of 40, this Helping Hand service really lightened my load.Mar 4, 2017VerifiedSweet Bazil, llc's reply
I was honored to be of assistance Mrs. Wolf. Thank you for your kind words and I am happy to know that you reached home safely!
Event Catering (Buffet)
I began my experience with Sweet Bazil through a tasting where the Chef came to my home and cooked a few items I was considering for my party. They were all good but had to narrow down my choices. Needless to say the Chef was very professional and her assistant stayed on top of all the details. Will likely use them again or AT LEAST recommend me them to others. The only negative thing (...which really isn't negative) is that following my event the staff were unable to pack any remaining food. If I were paying attention or inquired earlier I would have packed up any remaining food myself. I felt like there was a lot of food left over that I never got to see. Again, no biggie. The event was flawless and the food was terrific!Feb 9, 2017VerifiedSweet Bazil, llc's reply
Thank you for your review and honesty! Your opinion is important to us. I am sorry that you felt that there was a lot of food remaining but plates were made from the facility staff from the buffet that you may not have been aware of. We were under the impression that you gave them permission to do so.
