They explained any and everything I asked about wiring, materials, or their next steps. Communication was great, from before they even arrived — anytime they were cutting power, testing outlets, rewiring (and why), etc. which I appreciated greatly,
There were a couple electrical upgrades that couldn’t get done because they required more extensive work, and time was of the essence. But when I’m ready and they’re available, they absolutely will be the ones I hire to do them.

One of the best home improvement decisions I have ever made. I wanted recessed lighting across my townhouse’s middle floor.
Everything was easy - initial contact, estimate, details, and setting the appointment.
He came on time, set up, and went to work. Everything was done smartly, safely, and with minimal collateral damage (drywall needed to be cut to accommodate pulling wire). The materials were quality. He was polite and explained everything he was doing and why. He was thoughtful enough to save the drywall cutouts for the person repairing the ceiling later.
Poor guy stayed into the evening to make sure the work was done. When he was finished, and we turned on the lights, everything worked straight away - no issues! Cleanup was quick.
I don’t think I’ve written enough - I highly recommend Zak Electric, and have ideas for next projects with him!
